Please be aware that every cutting board is made from different wood and is unique! Each board can vary in color and grain. Your board may be darker or lighter depending on the color of the wood. There may be variations in the wood color, which is not an imperfection. Some boards may engrave slightly lighter or darker than the photo shows.

• If you do NOT want certain words included in your design, please specify this in personalization box at checkout. For example, if the design shows "The Halls" and the buyer places their order with the name Moore in their note to seller at checkout, their cutting board will read "The Halls" unless specifically noted they want it to read only "Hall" without "The".***

*All of our custom cutting boards are made from high-quality Acacia wood. Each cutting board is examined carefully prior to beginning the engraving process. Each board is sanded and finished with a high-quality food grade butcher block conditioner made from mineral oil and natural waxes so the cutting board will be immediately available for use upon arrival. To preserve the beauty of the board, it is recommended to cut on the side without the engraving.

*Do not place the board in the dishwasher. Do not soak board in water. For best results gently rinse and dry the board by hand.

*Treat the board regularly with a good food grade mineral oil to preserve the life of the board.

**Please note: this item is made to order. If you need it rushed, please contact me before you place your order. Proofs are provided upon request. If you do not request a proof your order will be processed with the choices you selected at check out. We will contact you if there is missing information or if we have questions. If we contact you with proofs for approval or questions and do not hear back from you within 48 hours, your order will be cancelled and refunded. You are more than welcome to place another order but we do this to ensure that all of our orders get processed and shipped in a timely manner.

Please allow 5-8 business days for production prior to shipping. If you are in a time crunch - contact us to see if we can rush it.

***All orders are inspected prior to shipping. Each package is insured with the Post office. If, for some reason, your item arrives damaged, a claim on your behalf will have to be filed with the United States Post office. In order to do this, they require proof of the damage. Prior to opening the damaged package, please take pictures of the damaged package and detailed pictures of the damaged item. Email them to HOMMADEDESIGNS@GMAIL.COM. Without this proof, I am unable to make a claim and therefore unable to exchange the damaged items. Thank you for your understanding.
